Cable Harnesses & Wire Assemblies
Custom harnesses, overmolds, and wire assemblies built to your drawing and IPC/WHMA-A-620 class.
Khonshu works three ways. We advise your team on supply base strategy and manufacturing operations. We move your parts to qualified suppliers outside China and manage them through production. And we build the assembly line inside your own facility. PCBAs, cable harnesses, optics, box builds, and electromechanical parts.
Retained or hourly. Supply base risk and China exit planning, EMS partner selection, NPI and manufacturing transfer, NDAA and export compliance, ERP and QMS. Leadership from someone who has run the function.
Advisory & retainers →We procure, source, manage and deliver finished parts direct to you on one purchase order. Supplier qualification, RFQ, tooling terms, first article and delivery all held by us.
What we supply →Bringing assembly in house? We design the cell, source and qualify the equipment, commission it on your floor and train your operators. You own the line.
Factory build-out →Tell us about the part, your current supplier data, and volume. We qualify the new source, run first article against your current part, and manage the move to production.

Anodize, passivation, plating, coating, and laser marking through qualified processors.
CMM and optical inspection, AS9102 first article, full documentation package.
Machined parts kitted, assembled, and shipped straight to your line.
For US companies vertically integrating, Khonshu stands up factory-grade box build and assembly lines inside your facility, from an empty floor to a qualified line running at rate. You own the line. We get it running and hand it over.
Process flow, takt time, floor layout, and capacity sized to your demand plan.
The right class of equipment for each station, matched to volume and mix.
Vendor comparison, quotes, negotiation, and lead-time planning.
Factory and site acceptance testing before you sign off on anything.
Utilities, fixturing, ESD control, and bring-up on your floor.

Every candidate supplier signs an NDA before your drawings leave our hands.
Capability, quality system, and country of origin reviewed before a quote reaches you.
Samples built and inspected. You approve before production tooling is released.
Paid for on your approval, and never owned by the supplier.
Orders placed against your POs and delivered on a scheduled cadence.
Contract manufacturing through a vetted, NDA-covered supplier network.
In-house fabrication for prototypes, fixtures, and low-volume parts.
Factory-grade assembly lines built inside your facility.
Operations leadership from someone who has run the function.
Customer had no stator supply base. Khonshu built one, quoted two stack technologies side by side, and structured tooling and payment so production is released only against firm orders.
Supply chain, manufacturing and product development functions built from zero at hardware companies.
Annual revenue supported by operations teams under our leadership.
Person operations organization led across supply chain and manufacturing.
B.S. Electrical Engineering. Former VP-level manufacturing and supply chain executive and hardware company founder. Has built supplier bases, EMS partnerships, and compliance programs for defense and regulated hardware.
A transfer checklist: parallel sourcing, requalification, and when to cut over.
Read →Cost, performance, and tooling tradeoffs between the two stack methods.
Read →Equipment, layout, and qualification: what it takes to stand up your own line.
Read →How to get molds and dies out of a factory, and how to keep it from happening again.
Read →A managed manufacturing partner. For production volumes we work through qualified manufacturing partners rather than owning every press, harness line, and assembly cell. What we own is the part of a program that fails most often: supplier selection, tooling terms, first article approval, and accountability for delivery. Prototypes, fixtures, and low-volume parts are built in our own shop.
In parallel. We qualify the new source and build first articles against your current part while your existing supply keeps running. Production moves only after you approve.
Discrete electronic components sold on their own, such as ICs and passives. Those belong with authorized distribution for traceability. Assembled boards are in scope: rigid and flex (FPC) PCBAs, turnkey or consigned. Anything built to your drawing is in scope.
Yes. For companies bringing assembly in-house, we handle line design, equipment identification and selection, procurement, installation, qualification, and ramp to rate. You own the line. We get it running and hand it over with documentation and trained operators.
Yes. Precision machined parts can be placed with vetted U.S. shops when a program requires domestic origin or DFARS specialty metals. Partner names and certifications are shared under NDA once a program is real.
You can. You would take on supplier qualification, NDAs, tooling protection, first article review, expediting, and the time zone. Our customers get one purchase order and one accountable contact instead.
Outside China. Our network includes Tier 2 and Tier 3 EMS partners with global footprints, dozens of specialist providers across machining, plastics, laminations, metal parts, and logistics, and a domestic track of vetted U.S. machine shops. Work is placed only in non-China facilities.
Never the supplier. Tooling is paid on your first article approval, and the ownership path is written into the quote.
Supplier screening for NDAA §889 and country of origin is part of every program.
A drawing or STEP file, target annual volume, current supplier pricing if you have it, compliance requirements, and your timeline. Start with the request form and we will reply by email to arrange the files. An NDA is in place before anything goes to a supplier.
Standard terms are FCA at the supplier's facility, with your company as importer of record. Delivered pricing is available on request.
Send us the basics below and we will reply the same or next business day with what we need to quote it. Drawings and files are exchanged by email once we have replied, and an NDA is in place before anything goes to a supplier.
